| Our hospital is equipped with a 500ma radiograph machine and ultrasound, both with telemedicine capabilities allowing state of the art imaging and specialty consultation. We utilize both our in house lab equipment and several outside veterinary laboratories to quickly and accurately assess your pet's health. |

| Your pet will be pampered and possibly spoiled in our clean and spacious boarding facilities. Cats have their own quarters in our special cat room, and dogs are walked twice daily in our outdoor, beautiful, shady nature trail. All pets are supervised by our doctors and veterinary technicians. | What is a laser?
A laser is a device that generates an intense beam of light at a specific wavelength. How does a laser work? A CO2 laser uses an invisible beam of light that vaporizes the normal water found in the skin or other soft tissue. Since the Veterinarian can control the laser, only a thin layer of tissue is removed, leaving the surrounding area unaffected. Why you should consider laser surgery? Less Pain- the laser seals nerve endings as it cuts through the skin or tissue. Your pet will feel less pain post-operatively. Less Bleeding- The laser seals small blood vessels during surgery, resulting in less bleeding, better precision and decreased duration of anesthesia. Less swelling- A laser does not crush, tear, or bruise since a laser only uses a beam of light to cut through the skin or tissue. What are the benefits for your pet? Reduced risk of infection-The laser sterilizes as it cuts, killing bacteria that may lead to infection. Precision-The laser can remove unhealthy tissue while minimizing adverse effects to healthy surrounding tissue.
